Owner/General Dentist
Ryan W. Clayton, DMD
Dr. Clayton was born and raised in Polo, IL. He graduated from Polo High School in 2008. He then went on to earn his Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry before going to Southern Illinois University to receive his Doctorate with honors. Dr. Clayton enthusiastically moved back to his hometown where he was able to take over for Dr. Sorenson fulfilling his childhood dream of being a practice owner.
Dr. Clayton is very active in both his community and the surrounding area. He serves as a Polo Chamber of Commerce board member, Lions Club member, Foundation board member for Polo Schools, and was recently elected to the Ogle County Health board. Dr. Clayton is also part of the Grant and Lee-Whiteside Dental Societies, along with being a member of Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Clayton is grateful for the opportunity to establish himself as both a healthcare professional and community leader.
Dr. Clayton provides preventive care, restorative, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, implant restorations, extractions, dentures, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Clayton is committed to continually expand his knowledge and skills as well as bring the latest dental techniques and technologies to Polo and the surrounding communities in order to raise the standard of dental care in the area. His mission is to provide his patients with exceptional dentistry while maintaining a compassionate, warm and caring environment.
Dr. Clayton is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays. He is more than willing to come in for emergencies when needed - any time or day. Dr. Clayton is looking forward to serving both current and new patients!

Kathy joined the team in June of 2020. She comes from the Dixon Shopko with 26 years of customer service experience. Kathy enjoys all the patients that comes through the door. Kathy lives in Dixon and loves spending time with her five grandchildren.

Felicia
Felicia is originally from Arkansas and moved here to be closer to her husband Marty's family. As our front office assistant, she enjoys welcoming patients and making each visit feel comfortable and stress-free. Outside of work, Felicia loves traveling- especially going on cruises, spending time with her golden retriever, Kyia, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Lisa Jo
Lisa has been a Dental Hygienist for 28 years. 27 of those years she worked with Drs. Brokaw and German in Dixon. Lisa came to Polo Dental in October of 2024 when her previous doctors retired. The best part about working at Polo Dental for her is being able to continue her decades long relationships with her former patients who followed her here and also the privilege of developing new relationships. She earned her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene at Parkland College in Champaign, Ilinois.
Lisa's mission is to give the most thorough cleanings and also educate her patients to ensure they understand their role in preventing periodontal disease . She was born, raised, and still resides in Dixon with her husband and two daughters. Lisa loves icecream, animals, her Jeep Wrangler, the beach, and craft coffee.

Kristen
Kristen grew up in Machesney Park. She attended Rock Valley College and received her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2021. Since graduating, she has moved to Forreston and began her career at Polo Dental. Kristen makes it her mission to educate her patients on good oral health and provides them with the knowledge to maintain a beautiful smile for life. Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, two dogs, and cat.

Kristen is relatively new to the dental field. She previously worked as a dental assistant when she lived in Aurora, IL. She has been with Polo Dental for a short time but loves her job and coworkers. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing activities like playing video games, watching tv, and doing puzzles. She lives in Rock Falls with her husband, two cats, and ferret.
